That's My Ball for Golf Gifts

That's My Ball offer a wide range of golf gifts for men and women which can be used for gifts and prizes.

The Golf Ball ID stamp last longer than golf ball stickers and can be reused hundreds and hundreds of times making them a cost effective way to mark your golf ball. You can also buy replacement ink pads for your stamp, so they just keep going, unlike golf ball monogrammers.

The rules of golf actually state that golfers must mark their own golf ball, so it is important that you clearly identify your ball, and what better way to do that, than with a golf ball stamp from That’s My Ball.

Apart from our Golf Ball stamp, we also carry a range of other golf gifts including golf ball markers, golf accessories, hat clip markers, ball towels and other golf gadgets. These golf gifts make perfect presents for the golfer in your life, and are great for birthdays, Christmas and golf parties.

Our crystal hat clip markers make great golf gifts for women and ladies golf tournament prizes. Male golfers might like our retractable microfibre golf towels, or one of our divot tools. Our Body Cooler Neck Ties will keep golfers cool and with over 30 different colours to chose from, these make perfect gifts for both Men and Women. Our range of Hand Hotties will keep your hands warm on the golf course during winter too. The Safe Keepers will help protect your valuables whilst on the golf course and come in a great range of colours for both men and women.  They help so you never lose small items in the bottom of your golf bag. The Safe Keepers also fit neatly in your handbag.  Men also tend to store loose change in them rather than having the loose change jingle in their pockets.

And finally if you are really stuck for a golf gift and you can't decide what to get that "hard to buy for golfer", then why not get a gift voucher from That's my Ball?  Our gift vouchers are available in any amount you choose and are redeemable online for any of our golf gifts. So if you are looking for a golf present for a man or woman in your life, have a look at our great range of golf gifts in our online store.

Golf Australia:

Andrew Langford-Jones, Director of Tournaments - PGA of Australia of PGA TOUR had the following to say in an article appearing in the May 2011 edition of the Golf Australia magazine highlighting the importance of always putting an identifying mark on your golf ball:

"The other lesson we should all learn from this example is that whenever you tee the ball up, make sure you have your own identification mark on the ball. I hate to think how many Titleist 4s or Callaway 3s would be on any course at any given time", Andrew Langford-Jones, Director of Tournaments - PGA of Australia of PGA TOUR

5 Tips to Avoid Losing Those Precious Golf Balls

There is nothing more frustrating in the game of golf than losing your ball, especially when you know it’s in play…somewhere, but you can’t seem to find it. Believe me, I know how it goes. If you spray the ball everywhere like me, you are used to looking for golf balls and finding nothing besides twigs, leaves, scuffed up Pinnacles, and the occasional 9-iron that was chucked into the woods who knows how long ago.

Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to limit the amount of balls you lose. Of course, the first thing you should do before teeing up your first shot is mark your ball with a signature stamp from That’s My Ball to ensure you know whose ball is whose.

After you’ve stamped your little white friend, use these 5 tips to help you keep balls in your bag and a cool head out there on the course.

  1. Use a Spotter
That’s right. You’re playing partner can serve a purpose, other than laughing at your swing. Just like you do when hitting the bench press in the gym, it’s not a bad idea to ask for a spot, in this case for your ball. Simply ask if your playing partner will stand behind you and watch the ball’s flight as it leaves your club face. This will give you another set of eyes to help you find where that little round thing ends up. Obviously if you are playing on your lonesome, you will have to try to keep an eye out yourself. So after you make contact, even if you know it’s bad, look up and track your ball’s flight instead of slamming your club head into the ground (and if you do please fix your divot).
  2. Keep Away From Wild Animals
That’s right, we all hit those perfect shots and then are confused when the ball seems to go missing from the middle of the fairway. Well, the truth is there are many wild animals with a fondness for our shiny golf ball. Check out this cheeky guy and make sure you avoid him and his friends.

  3. Play the Correct Tee Boxes
Again, this can sometimes be a male ego thing, but really, be honest with yourself and your golf game. If you are a 20-handicapper, there’s no sense in playing the tips at a tough course. Not only will you shoot a score you aren’t proud of, but you will lose more than your fair share of golf balls. Bloated scores and lost balls tend to go hand in hand. Man-up (or lady-up?) and play the tees that suit your skill level. Once you become a lower handicap then move to a different set of tee boxes.
  4. There’s a Tool Called a Ball Retriever
There’s also no shame in packing a ball-retriever in your bag and using it to rescue what would have been lost balls you wouldn’t have been able to reach. You’re bound to find the hazard every now and then, but when you do, extend that baby out and go fishin’. I use mine so much, I had to have it re-gripped! I’m kidding (I do use it a lot though). Probably best to be a little careful trying to retrieve golf balls round this guy though! Image via Killer Gators
  5. Practice, Practice, Practice!
Of course, you knew this was coming. Really the best tip to avoid losing balls on the course is to practice…a lot. Golf is a tough game and you won’t become a world-class player overnight, but if you have the right attitude, the correct approach and put the time in on the driving range and on the course, you will undoubtedly improve.

Until then, when you do lose balls on the golf course, be sure to replenish your stash by visiting us at Lost Golf Balls. I’m Steve Walsh and I run Lost Golf Balls and although we sell golf balls I know the pain and heartache when your see your favourite white friend fly into the dreaded out of bounds area.

Happy Golfing!
